Assisted a multi-disciplinary team with focused land use and policy expertise for the Gary 2018 Comprehensive Plan Update. The Plan focuses on addressing existing economic development and fiscal issues, integrating sustainability and green infrastructure, and balancing future growth alongside environmental protection and neighborhood/corridor revitalization. The R+A team worked with the City to develop, inventory and assess existing conditions, strengths and weaknesses, and other special issues facing this shrinking City.
